Our Founder
Founded by Kenneth Tyler, an HVAC controls veteran with over 50 years of experience, HVAC Controls Corp. has deep roots in the controls business. Kenneth's journey began in 1974, and since then, his expertise has been instrumental in shaping the company's core strengths. Our success lies in the collective knowledge and dedication of our experienced personnel, who bring a wealth of skills and insights to every project.
Operations
Key to our operations is Kathy Tyler, serving as the CFO of HVAC Controls Corp. With a majority stake in the company and extensive experience as a co-founder of several successful ventures, including Sunbelt Controls and K. Tyler, Inc., Kathy plays a pivotal role in overseeing all administrative aspects of the business. Her responsibilities span from financial management to fleet and insurance matters, ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations.
A New Journey
The genesis of HVAC Controls Corp. traces back to Ken Tyler's earlier ventures. Following the sale of Sunbelt Controls to ACCO Engineered Systems in 2001, Ken embarked on a new journey by establishing K. Tyler, Inc. However, legal considerations prompted a name change, leading to the formation of HVAC controls in 2009.
Achievements
Ken's career trajectory is marked by notable achievements, including his tenure at Johnson Controls, where he ascended to the position of field superintendent. Under his leadership, Sunbelt Controls became California's largest independent controls installing contractor before its acquisition by ACCO in 2001.
The Vice President
Christopher Tyler, Vice President of HVAC Controls Corp., represents the next generation of leadership. Joining the company in 1999, Christopher has played a pivotal role in our success, overseeing installations across Northern California with precision and expertise.
